Astrology, oracle, tarot and the imaginal
My readings bring together astrology, oracle and tarot, alongside many years of working with imagery, symbolism and animistic practice.
I’m not interested in fortune-telling or predicting a fixed future. For me, a reading is a conversation: a way of looking more deeply at where you are, what may be changing, and the patterns, images and possibilities emerging in your life.
How I Work
I don’t really separate astrology, cards and imaginal work. They are different ways of approaching the same questions.
Sometimes a reading begins with your birth chart — looking at the patterns you were born with and the particular transits or cycles you are moving through now.
Sometimes the cards take the lead. I work with both tarot and my own Oracle of Animal Soul Medicine, allowing images and symbols to open up perspectives that might not be immediately available through rational thought alone.
Sometimes we may move into a more imaginal space, using guided or journey-based work to encounter an image, landscape or figure and see what arises.
Most often, a session moves naturally between these things.
I don’t decide beforehand exactly which tools we will use. I listen to you, to the images and patterns that emerge, and to what the session seems to be asking for.
I don’t work with certainty. I work with symbols.
What might we explore ?
People come to me at all sorts of thresholds, particularly when something in life is changing or asking to be looked at differently.
This might include:
- Death, grief and loss
- Life transitions and thresholds
- Purpose and direction
- Relationships and recurring patterns
- Ancestral and family stories
- Shadow and integration
- Creative blocks and emergence
- Periods when the old map simply doesn’t seem to work anymore
You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly formed question. Sometimes knowing that something is changing is enough.
Practical Details
Sessions take place via Zoom, or in person by arrangement in North Wales.
A full reading is usually around two hours. I prefer not to rush the work, while also recognising that not every session needs to become an epic.
Sessions can be recorded so that you can return to the conversation afterwards.
Full Reading -£150
Approximately two hours, bringing together whichever aspects of astrology, oracle, tarot and imaginal work are most useful to what you bring.
Focused Oracle / Tarot Reading -£45
A shorter session for a particular question, situation or threshold.
A limited number of Pay What You Can sessions are also available. You don’t need to explain or justify why you are asking.
